Just picked up my copy of the new Karen Russell yesterday! I’m a huge fan of her short stories and have long filled that’s where she really shines. Swamplandia didn’t really work for me but that might be because of the roots being in an excellent story that I felt was already perfect. It’s not like it wasn’t good though. I’m really excited to see what she can do in novel form from scratch.
I tried Raddle and feel really dumb because I just don't get it yet! I need to watch someone be successful at this so I can understand and enjoy it too!

If you weren’t already aware, Raddle was created by local Chicago puzzle designer Sandy Weisz!
oh! I didn't know that, but I should have!
Had some angry moments initially with Raddle but now I love it!
I can’t stop playing Raddle. It’s such a beautiful day, and I should go outside. But I just want to keep building ladders!

than you for the tip - that worked! I didn't realize you were figuring out which clue was to which rung - now it makes sense. I am now a convert.
