Greta! Thank you for continuing to share your interests, recommendations, and insightful musings. After having your voice in my ears for years, I felt a true sense of grief when learning Nerdette was coming to an end. I am sending you all my good vibes! Even though we’re all here virtually, we are your tribe! Here to support you in all that you do!
Very sad to no longer be able to listen to you be smart, engaging, fun, and often times silly. Your voice has entertained me for uncountable hours and I hope it finds its way into my life again very soon.
So relieved you started this newsletter - I need your pragmatic, delighted voice in my life! And book recs! I will follow you to wherever you end up next. <3
sending love and light to support whatever vibes this Tuesday brings. thank you creating this space and sharing it with us. brb, buying library candle...
Time away from work means more time to play in the kitchen (whipped ricotta!) and more time to read. And summertime is ahead - enjoy some downtime and have fun!
I just started listening to Kathleen Center's new book THE ROM-COMMERS and it's such a pleasure! I'm also reading the new Liz Moore which is also very very good. I've heard great things about ANNIEBOT! I know Traci over at The Stacks liked it a lot.
Mine was called a Christmas cactus but, hey, with climate change, it could be a May cactus! You’ve got this Greta! My husband got laid off after 17 yrs and it was very nerve wracking but it led to other opportunities and life long friendships with people he would never have met. And now, he’s back at the same company by choice! You never know. 🤞🏻🍀🧧

You’ve got this ♥️
It's a Christmas Cactus. My boyfriend's mom has 20 of them. (although not a white blooming one!)
Good luck and peace on all the upcoming lasts and inevitable upcoming firsts!
