I’m doing Hispanic Heritage Month and spooky season reads! I’m halfway through The Cemetery of Untold Stories by Julia Alvarez. It is SO GOOD. Next up is Mexican Gothic (maybeeeee???? I’ve heard it’s very creepy), Oye, and Anita de Monte Laughs Last. Then for spooky season I’m diving into The Starling House and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. I never tailor my reading to the season, so I’m excited about this change in my reading life. It’s been really fun!
I don’t know how feasible this would be, but have you thought about recording the zoom discussions each month and making them available for us to listen to (could definitely just be audio-only) if we weren’t able to attend?
Every October I listen to FranKissStein by Jeanette Winterson on audiobook. I love the reader of the book, Mary Shelley's story, and the new take on Frankenstein. Then after I listen to this book, I reread Frankenstein every year. Both are such a joy.

I am excited to hear your thoughts about The Great When!
